Biography
Ben Robbins is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 33, which includes parts of Coosa, Talladega, and Clay Counties. A seventh-generation resident of Talladega County and Sylacauga attorney, he won a special election on January 19, 2021, defeating Democrat Fred Crum with 68.2% of the vote, and assumed office on January 26, 2021, succeeding Ronald Johnson. He is married to Melanie Robbins and they have one son. Robbins is a staunch conservative focused on job creation, education, infrastructure, low taxes, and pro-business policies; he serves on community boards including Habitat for Humanity, Leadership Sylacauga, Talladega Rotary Club , and local Chambers of Commerce.
