Ben Queen is a Republican politician serving in the West Virginia Senate, representing District 12. Born on February 7, 1995, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, he has called Harrison County home his entire life. He is a professional photographer and media entrepreneur, owning Ben Queen Photography, and attends Simpson Creek Baptist Church.

Education and Political Experience

Queen graduated from Bridgeport High School and attended West Virginia University, studying business and entrepreneurship. He served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from the 48th District from 2016 to 2022, completing three terms. There, he served on the Judiciary Committee and chaired the Committee on Small Business, Economic Development & Entrepreneurship.

In the Senate, he serves on the Committee on Interstate Cooperation and was the lead sponsor of three bills in 2025, including SB 573 and the Small Business Protection Act .
