Biography

Ben Hansen, born on June 29, 1979, in Schuyler, Nebraska, is a Republican politician, businessman, and chiropractor representing Nebraska's 16th legislative district. He was first elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. In January 2025, Hansen was elected as the chair of the Executive Board of the Nebraska Legislature.

Prior to his legislative service, Hansen owned and operated the Hansen Chiropractic Wellness Center since 2007. He also founded the Blair Rent-It Center in 2014 and the Heritage Barnwood Company.

Hansen is married to Jill Christine Groene, with whom he has one child, Olivia.
