Ben Fuhriman (30B)

Ben G. Fuhriman is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 30B. Born and raised in Ammon, Idaho, he grew up in a family emphasizing hard work and community service; his father, Steve Fuhriman, served as Mayor of Ammon. Fuhriman is married to Holli, whom he met volunteering for a Republican campaign, and they have four children in the Shelley School District. He is a financial planner and Accredited Financial Counselor, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an Eagle Scout, and involved with the Boy Scouts of America, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors , and Bingham County Republican Central Committee. Elected in November 2024 after defeating incumbent Julianne Young in the Republican primary, he assumed office on December 1, 2024, with his term ending December 1, 2026. Notable achievements include graduating high school as valedictorian, serving a two-year mission in São Paulo, Brazil, and advocating for fiscal responsibility in the legislature.
