Biography
Representative Benjamin Franklin is a Republican serving Wisconsin's 88th Assembly District, which includes portions of Brown County such as Allouez, Bellevue, De Pere, Rockland, and Ledgeview. He was sworn into office at the State Capitol and serves on committees including Corrections, Criminal Justice and Public Safety, Jobs and Economy, Urban Revitalization, Ways and Means, and as Vice Chairman of Veterans and Military Affairs. Prior to politics, much of his career was in the United States Air Force, followed by owning a small business in Wisconsin and currently serving as Director of Operations for Papa Johns Pizza statewide. He grew up in a small town in Iowa, emphasizing values of hard work and service, and is active in his church and community; he lives with his wife and two children.
