Biography
Senator Rebecca "Becca" White is a Democrat representing the Windsor District in the Vermont State Senate, where she has served since 2023. A lifelong Vermonter from White River Junction, she began her political career at age 20 by winning election to the Hartford Selectboard, serving two terms from 2014 or 2015 to 2018. She then served four years as a State Representative for Windsor-4-2, before advancing to the Senate. Notable achievements include serving as Assistant Majority Leader ** for the Vermont Senate Democrats, co-chairing the **Climate Solutions Caucus and the Futures Caucus, and sponsoring the Transportation Modernization Act of 2021 and Transportation Innovation Act of 2022. She currently serves on the Senate Transportation and Government Operations committees, and previously as Clerk of the Natural Resources & Energy Committee.

- Education: Graduated from Hartford High School; earned a BA in History from the University of Vermont in 2015, entering at age 16 on a scholarship for low-income, first-generation students.
