ABOUT
Barbara Kirkmeyer is currently serving her second term as Weld County Commissioner in District 3, as well as being the Weld County caucus chair for the Colorado GOP. She has been happily married to her husband Yogi for over 30 years. Barbara grew up on a dairy farm in northwestern Illinois where instilled in her was the value of hard work and personal responsibility that has guided her throughout life. Prior to serving as a county commissioner, Barbara worked for a Fortune 500 agricultural cooperative developing software applications and managing IT operations. During this time, she and Yogi also started and ran their own software development business.read less
