Arnold Mooney is a Republican representing Alabama House District 43 since his election in November 2014. Education: Born in Montgomery, Alabama, to Arnold and Lillian Mooney, he graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, earned undergraduate and graduate degrees with highest honors in political science and history from Samford University , studied abroad at the University of Oxford as a Rotary Scholar from the Rotary Club of Birmingham, and pursued postgraduate study as a Scottish Rite Foundation Fellow at George Washington University's School of Government and Business Administration.
