Biography
April R. Rose is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 5 . Appointed in 2015 by Governor Larry Hogan to fill a vacancy, she was elected in 2018 and has served continuously since, currently as Assistant Minority Leader since 2021 and ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee .
Born in Salisbury, Maryland , she is married to Michael Richards with six children total; resides in Westminster, Maryland.
