Anthony Ealy, Jr. is a Democratic State Representative for District 36 in the Missouri House of Representatives, representing a portion of Jackson County. Elected in November 2022 to his first two-year term, he is the youngest representative for the district and the first African American to represent the city of Grandview. Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in and currently resides in Grandview, Missouri. As a licensed attorney, he serves as managing partner of Ealy Law, Notary & Consulting, LLC, and previously worked at a top national labor law firm. He is active in community organizations, including the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Board of Directors, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Young Lawyers Board of Directors, Genesis School Board, 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City, South Kansas City Alliance, and Grandview Youth Court Board of Directors.
