Biography
Anthony Daniels is a Democratic state representative for Alabama House District 53, based in the Huntsville area. He serves as House Minority Leader, a position he has held since 2017, making him the youngest and first African American to lead the Alabama House Democrats. Daniels is currently in his third term, having been elected in 2014, and is the Chief Operating Officer of Premiere Dental Spa, a small business he owns with his wife. Notable achievements include sponsoring the "Growler Bill" in 2016, which allowed local microbreweries to sell growlers, boosting small business revenue and jobs. He has advocated for public schools, early childhood education, workforce development, healthcare access, and rural economic growth.
