Biography

Anne P. Graham

Anne P. Graham is a Democratic state representative from North Yarmouth, Maine, currently serving her fourth non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives. Born on January 17, 1959, she is 67 years old and maintains Catholic religious affiliation with roots in Bangor, Maine.

Before returning to the legislature, Graham had a distinguished career as a pediatric nurse practitioner, working in that field for over 35 years before retiring. She has been deeply involved in her community through extensive volunteer service across Gray, North Yarmouth, and the state, and previously served on the North Yarmouth Select Board.

Political Experience

Graham represents Maine House District 105, which serves the communities of Gray and North Yarmouth in Cumberland County. She is currently serving her fourth term, having previously served from 2010 to 2014 in the 109th district before being redistricted. She was reelected in both 2012 and 2014, took a hiatus from the legislature, and returned after winning election in November 2022.

In the legislature, Graham serves on two committees: the Health and Human Services Committee and the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee. She faced a competitive race during the 2024 election cycle against Republican opponent Susan Austin.

Education

Graham holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree, both earned in 1981 and 1986 respectively. She attended Boston College and Yale University for her higher education.
