Biography
Anne Dauphinais is a Republican representing Connecticut House District 44, which comprises the towns of Killingly, Plainfield, and Sterling. Born in 1960, she has served in the Connecticut House of Representatives since 2017 and was re-elected to her fifth term in November 2024. Dauphinais grew up in Killingly and has built a diverse career in healthcare, sales, and public service. Her professional background includes work as a nurse, sales consultant for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and pre-release case manager for the Connecticut Department of Correction. She has been a prominent voice in legislative debates, particularly regarding vaccine policy and public health matters.
Education
Dauphinais earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University. She also completed training at the Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute.
