Biography

Anna V. Eskamani is a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing House District 42, which includes parts of Orlando, Winter Park, Belle Isle, Edgewood, Maitland, and the historic Town of Eatonville. Born and raised in Orlando as the daughter of working-class Iranian immigrants, she is a nonprofit professional and earned the title "Dr." after completing her PhD in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2024. First elected in 2018, she won re-elections in 2020, 2022, and subsequent terms through grassroots campaigns.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Attended Orange County Public Schools, including University High School ; earned dual undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida; PhD in Public Administration from UCF .
