Anna V. Eskamani is a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing House District 42, which includes parts of Orlando, Winter Park, Belle Isle, Edgewood, Maitland, and the historic Town of Eatonville. Born and raised in Orlando as the daughter of working-class Iranian immigrants, she is a nonprofit professional and earned the title "Dr." after completing her PhD in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2024. First elected in 2018, she won re-elections in 2020, 2022, and subsequent terms through grassroots campaigns.

• Secured millions in state funding for District 42, including water infrastructure, Pulse Remembrance Memorial, youth violence prevention, fire stations, homelessness prevention, Holocaust Museum for Hope & Humanity, and Winter Park Chain of Lakes environmental studies.
• Led 800% increase in statewide arts and culture funding in her first year; advocated for permanent sales tax elimination on children's diapers and adult incontinence products.
• Opposed Republican-led bills on abortion bans, child labor weakening, LGBTQ+ restrictions, and corporate tax giveaways; worked bipartisanship on veterans support, human trafficking prevention, and teacher pay increases.
• Demanded accountability in HOPE Florida scandal and challenged corporate price-gouging.
