Biography
Ann Rivers is a Republican who represented Washington's 18th Legislative District in the state Senate until January 12, 2025. Elected to the House in 2010 and appointed to the Senate in mid-2012, she served three Senate terms before announcing in April 2024 that she would not seek reelection, citing increased workload as assistant city manager in Longview and family priorities; she now resides in La Center .
