Ann Meyer is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 8 . Born in 1965 in Redford, Michigan, she resides in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with her husband Jim and son Jacob. A nurse by profession, Meyer serves as chair of the House Human Resources Committee and participates in committees including Health and Human Services Budget Subcommittee , Transportation, and Appropriations. She was first elected in November 2018 and assumed office on January 14, 2019.
