Ann Bollin is a Republican representing Michigan's 49th House District, which includes portions of Livingston and western Oakland counties, such as the cities of Brighton, Walled Lake, Wixom, and parts of Novi, along with Brighton Township, Green Oak Township, and portions of Commerce and Lyon townships. Born August 18, 1960, in Detroit, she was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2019, initially serving the 42nd District prior to 2022 redistricting. She currently serves as chair of the House Appropriations Committee, overseeing the state budget. Bollin is married to Tim, has three adult sons, and resides in Brighton Township; she is Catholic and involved with St. Vincent de Paul Society and Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Notable achievements include being the longest-serving Brighton Township Clerk , enrollment in the Brighton Area Women’s History Roll of Honor in 2018, and extensive community leadership on boards like the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Townships Association, and Livingston County Catholic Charities.
