Biography
Andy Whitt is a Republican representative for Alabama House District 6, which spans Madison and Limestone Counties, including areas such as Toney, Harvest, Monrovia, Providence, Huntsville, Research Park, and East Limestone. Married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer Hilliard Whitt, they have two children, Grant and Emma Drew, and attend Mt. Zion Baptist Church. With 27 years of banking experience, he serves as Senior Vice President and Madison County Executive for First National Bank, overseeing the bank's growth in North Alabama. Notable positions include Chairman of the Economic Development and Tourism Committee, Vice Chair of Financial Services, Vice Chairperson of Madison County Legislation, and member of Ways and Means General Fund, Permanent Joint Legislative Committee on Finances and Budget, Limestone County Legislation, and Contract Review Permanent Legislative Oversight Committee.
Education and Political Experience
Andy Whitt attended Calhoun Community College, Samford University’s College of Business and Administration program, and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2018.
