Biography
Andy Shamblin
Andy Shamblin is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 59 in Kanawha County. Born on May 25, 1990, in Charleston, West Virginia, Shamblin brings diverse professional experience to his legislative role. He works as a teacher, minister, and city council member, and serves as a minister at The Nitro Church of Christ. He is also affiliated with the Supervisory Committee of Peoples Federal Credit Union.
Education
Shamblin completed his secondary education at Nitro High School, graduating in 2009. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from West Virginia State University in 2014, and later obtained a graduate degree from Marshall University Graduate College in 2018.
Political Experience
As an incumbent delegate, Shamblin has been active in sponsoring legislation.
