Biography
Andrew Frederick Fink is a Republican politician who served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2021 to 2024. He represented the 58th district and the 35th district , covering areas including Hillsdale, Branch, and parts of Lenawee Counties. A Lutheran and married to Lauren Fink with five children , Fink retired from the House in 2024 to run for the Michigan Supreme Court, where he was the Republican nominee but lost to Kimberly Thomas.
Notable positions include Minority Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee; he served on committees such as Appropriations, Judiciary, Tax Policy, and Health Policy. After leaving office, he was succeeded by Jennifer Wortz.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: B.A. in political science from Hillsdale College ; J.D. from University of Michigan Law School .
- Professional and Military Service: Worked in Hillsdale College's office of career planning ; Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps ; attorney at family law firm Fink & Fink, PLLC since 2014.
