Andrew Collins is a Democratic member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 73 in Pulaski County, which covers areas from Riverdale to Pinnacle and much of north and west Little Rock. Born on September 7, 1983, he serves as House Minority Leader in his fourth term , with notable roles including commissioner of the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission and member of the National Conference of State Legislatures Task Force on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Privacy. He is a Catholic attorney working in real estate for Cypress Properties and lives in Little Rock with his wife and three children.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Graduated from Duke University and Columbia Law School; worked in the AmeriCorps VISTA national service program between college and law school.
  • Political Experience: First elected to the House in 2018 for District 35 , unopposed in 2020, redistricted to District 73 in 2022 , and unopposed in 2024; elected Minority Leader for the 2025 session. Serves on the House Judiciary Committee, House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee, House Advanced Communications and Information Technology Committee, Joint Budget Committee, and Arkansas Legislative Council; vice chair of the Charitable, Penal, and Correctional Institutions Subcommittee and State Agencies and Reorganization Subcommittee.
  • Civic Involvement: Former president of the Board of Directors of Our House, member of the UA-Pulaski Tech Foundation Board, and Leadership Greater Little Rock.
