Biography

Andrea Fletcher Harrison is a Maryland House of Delegates member representing District 24 in Prince George's County, elected in November 2018. A lifelong resident of the district, she previously served on the Prince George's County Council for District 5 from 2008 to 2018, including as Chair and the first woman elected to that seat, once held by her late father, James C. Fletcher, Jr. Notable achievements include her roles as Vice-Chair of the Bi-County Committee of the Prince George’s County Delegation, former Chair of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and recipient of awards for nonprofit support and public policy work. She lives in Springdale with her husband Charles and has three children, including Eric, Christian, and Nikita.
