Amy Sheldon (Addison-1)

Amy Sheldon is a Democratic representative for Addison-1 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2015. She resides in Middlebury, Addison County, and works as a consulting Natural Resource Planner at Landslide Natural Resource Planning, Inc. Notable achievements include serving as Chair of the House Committee on Environment and Chair of the Land Use Review Board Nominating Committee, along with prior roles on the Middlebury Planning Commission , District 9 Environmental Board for Act 250, Middlebury Area Land Trust Board, and current service on the Middlebury Conservation Commission. She is also a Senior Faculty member at the National Outdoor Leadership School .

Education and Political Experience

• Education: BA in economics from Middlebury College; MS in Natural Resource Planning from the University of Vermont.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Vermont House in 2014; served on the Fish, Wildlife and Water Resources Committee, Agriculture and Forestry Committee, and Commerce and Economic Development Committee.
