Biography
Amy L. Grant is a Republican who represents the 47th District in the Illinois House of Representatives, serving since January 2019 in the 104th General Assembly. Based in Wheaton, she previously served on the DuPage County Board from 2012 to 2018, where she advanced budget reforms saving taxpayers at least $120 million long-term, including $43.9 million in direct cuts, and supported abolishing the DuPage Water Commission’s sales tax, saving consumers $36 million annually. Elected in 2018, she won re-election in close races, including by 292 votes in 2024 after being outspent.
