Biography
Amanda Swope is a Democratic politician, citizen of the Muscogee Nation, and descendant of the Osage Nation from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She represented House District 71 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2022 to 2025, after which she resigned to become Director of Tribal Policy & Partnerships in Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols' administration starting January 2025. Notable achievements include serving as the youngest and first Native American Chairwoman of the Tulsa County Democratic Party , working as Tribal Juvenile Justice Program Director for the Muscogee Nation, and advocating for voting rights, sovereignty expansion, and juvenile justice reform.
