Biography
Amanda Collamore
Amanda Noelle Collamore is an American Republican politician from Pittsfield, Maine. She was born in Waterville, Maine and has been serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives since December 2, 2020, representing the 68th House district. Her district encompasses the communities of Burnham, Clinton, Pittsfield, and Troy.
Collamore is a businesswoman who operates multiple enterprises, including a photography business and a property management business. Beyond her legislative work, she is actively involved in community service, regularly donating her time and resources to nonprofit organizations such as homeless shelters, food banks, community events like the Central Maine Egg Festival, and the Relay for Life.
Education
Collamore earned her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015. She attended both Kennebec Valley Community College and the University of Maine at Orono.
Political Experience
Collamore is currently serving her third term in the Maine House of Representatives. Within the legislature, she holds significant leadership positions as the ranking member of the ethics committee and the ranking member of the housing and economic development committee. She is also employed as the Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center Education and Outreach Manager at the University of Maine, a position that complements her legislative work on infrastructure and economic development matters.
