Alonzo T. Washington is a Democratic state senator representing District 22 in Prince George's County, Maryland. Born on September 2, 1983, in Washington, D.C., and raised by his mother Elizabeth Washington in Greenbelt, Maryland, he has focused his career on education, economic development, social justice, and public safety. Notable achievements include serving as Deputy Majority Whip , House Parliamentarian , and Vice Chair of the Ways and Means Committee , with leadership in subcommittees on election law and education.
