Biography
Alice Hanlon Peisch is a Democratic state representative for Massachusetts' 14th Norfolk District, which includes the towns of Wellesley, Weston, and Precinct 2 in Lincoln. She has served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2003 and currently holds the position of Assistant Majority Leader. Notable achievements include chairing the Joint Committee on Education from 2011 to 2023, where she reformed the state's school funding formula, and receiving the 2012 Walter G. Turner Award for her work in education collaboratives. She also serves on the House Committee on Ethics, House Committee on Rules, and previously on the National Assessment Governing Board .
