Alice Emmons (Windsor-3)

Alice M. Emmons is a Democrat representing Windsor-3 in the Vermont House of Representatives. Born February 14, 1955, in Springfield, Vermont, she has served continuously since 1983, making her a long-serving incumbent. She resides in Springfield with her husband, John Middleton, and owns and operates Lamps & Shades by Alice. Notable positions include Chair of the House Committee on Corrections and Institutions, Vice Chair of the Joint Legislative Justice Oversight Committee, and member of several committees such as the Legislative Advisory Committee on the State House, Special Committee on Capitol Complex Flood Recovery, and State Aid for School Construction Working Group.
