Alexis Simmons (House District 0058)

Alexis Simmons is a Democratic representative for Kansas House District 58, serving since 2024. She defeated Republican Michael Mathewson with 36.46% of the vote after winning the Democratic primary against Wendy Damman-Bednar with 85.22%. Simmons campaigns on affordable housing, public school funding, and women's health, and serves as Ranking Minority Member on the House Committee on Legislative Modernization.
