About

Alex Riley is a Republican attorney and politician serving as the state representative for Missouri's 134th District since January 6, 2021, after being elected in November 2020. Born and raised in Springfield, he has lived in the district for over 20 years and resides in the Parkcrest neighborhood with his wife Ellen and their three children: Mitchell, Sophie, and Carson. As Majority Leader, he advances priority legislation and conservative reforms; he also serves as vice chair of the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and vice chair of the House General Laws Committee. His legal career includes work as a paralegal, associate attorney at Malkmus Law Firm and McAfee & Taft, and currently as an attorney at Healy Law Offices, defending businesses and individuals in Missouri courts.
