Alex Marszalkowski (0052)

Alex D. Marszalkowski is a Democratic representative for District 52 in the Rhode Island House of Representatives. First elected in November 2016, he serves as Deputy Majority Leader , second vice chair of the House Finance Committee , and a member of the House Rules Committee. Notable achievements include sponsoring 2024 laws exempting crime victims from certain court fees for restitution and requiring municipalities to submit actuarial studies for pension plans; he also cosponsored 2023 bills waiving interest on overdue commercial property taxes and enhancing data privacy protections. A lifelong Cumberland resident, he is a partner and general manager of Adams Farm and was born on February 22, 1987.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Mount St. Charles Academy ; earned a bachelor’s degree in history and psychology from Roger Williams University; J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law .
