Alex Joers is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the 81st Assembly District since January 2025. Born August 27, 1992, in Madison and raised in Middleton, he is a communications professional, family man , and small business owner in children's recreation. Previously, he represented the 79th Assembly District and served on the Dane County Board of Supervisors . Notable achievements include advocating for land conservation, flood mitigation, affordable housing, public health, gun safety, student debt relief, environmental protection, food equity, and child care accessibility. He serves on committees including Small Business Development, Colleges and Universities, Tourism, and Rules, and is a member of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Middleton High School ; earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse .
