Aisha Dew (House District 0107)

Aisha O. Dew is a Democratic representative for North Carolina House District 107, covering Mecklenburg County. She has served in this role since 2025 and is a member of the Progressive House Caucus. A seasoned political strategist and community advocate, Dew has over a decade of experience in campaign management, grassroots organizing, and progressive policy development. Her priorities include reproductive justice, small business support, environmental protection, education funding, healthcare access, and economic policies for marginalized communities. Notable achievements include serving as North Carolina State Director for Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign, First Vice Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, Chair of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party, and Political Director for Higher Heights for America. She led efforts in over 200 campaigns nationwide, including the election of Charlotte’s first Black female mayor, Vi Lyles.
