Adrian C. Madaro is a Democratic representative for the 1st Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, serving East Boston—the only Boston district encompassing a single neighborhood. A lifelong East Boston resident, he was first elected in 2015, succeeding Rep. Carlo Basile, and has served multiple terms, including re-election in 2020.
