Adison Richards is a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 26th Legislative District, Position 1. He took office on January 13, 2025, after defeating Republican Jesse L. Young in the 2024 general election with 51.6% of the vote. Notable achievements include serving as vice chair of the Housing Committee and membership on the Agriculture & Natural Resources and Transportation committees. Education and Political Experience

Richards grew up in Washington's 26th District, graduating from Peninsula High School, where his mother taught. He worked in his father's landscaping business as a youth. A nonprofit attorney, he served survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking at the Northwest Justice Project and practiced housing law at Kitsap Legal Services. Community involvement includes volunteering as a Peninsula High School cross-country coach, and service with Rotary Club, Harbor History Museum, Bremerton NAACP, Gig Harbor Sister Cities Council, and others. He won the 2024 election, raising over $569,000 in campaign funds.
