Adam C. Smith is a Republican representing District 120 in the Kansas State House of Representatives, serving western Kansas from his home in Weskan since 2017. A sixth-generation Kansan born and raised in western Kansas, he is the third generation to own and operate the family farm, Willow Creek Ranch, since 2000. He is married to Christine with three children: Austin, Kaitlyn, and Allison. Notable achievements include chairing the Wallace County Board of Commissioners , leading the Kansas Legislative Policy Group executive board through multiple terms including a rare second term as president, and serving as president of the Kansas County Association Multiline Pool board for two terms. In the legislature, he chairs the Taxation Committee and has served on key committees like Corrections and Juvenile Justice, Redistricting, and Rules and Journal, contributing to tax code revisions and K-12 school funding reforms.
