Adam Pugh

Adam Pugh is a Republican state senator representing Senate District 41 from Edmond, Oklahoma. An Air Force veteran and Oklahoma City native, Pugh has built a career balancing public service with business leadership. He is married to Sarah and has three children: Sadie and Amelia. Beyond his legislative work, Pugh serves as Senior Vice President at Gideon Services and works as a substitute teacher in Deer Creek and Edmond Public Schools. He is also active in his community through memberships in the Edmond Veterans of Foreign Wars and Edmond Young Professionals.

Education

Pugh holds multiple advanced degrees:

Political Experience

Pugh was first elected to the Oklahoma State Senate in 2016 and has maintained his seat through subsequent elections, including a successful 2024 reelection bid in District 41.

His most notable achievement is serving as Chairman of the Senate Education Committee, a position reflecting his legislative focus on education reform. His priorities include addressing teacher shortages, improving student outcomes, and preparing Oklahoma's workforce for the future.
