Representative Adam R. Lee
Adam R. Lee is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives representing the 89th district, which includes part of Auburn. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, after being elected on November 8, 2022, succeeding Holly Stover. Lee resides in Auburn with his wife, Heidi McCarthy, and his son, Emmett.
Beyond his legislative work, Lee is an active community member. He serves as a mentor at the Auburn Police Activities League Center and has been a longtime Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor. He previously served as a two-term member of the Auburn City Council and the chair of the Lewiston Auburn Metro Chamber of Commerce's Economic Growth Committee. Lee also sits on the University of Southern Maine Board of Visitors and the City of Auburn's Comprehensive Plan Committee.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor cum laude from Vermont Law School, both earned in 2007.
