Abbey Duke (Chittenden-17)

Abbey Duke is a Democrat representing Chittenden-17 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2024. She lives in Burlington's New North End with her partner Sue Chayer and their two teenage children, and is known for her entrepreneurial background in food and farming, including founding Sugarsnap catering in 2003 and developing Wet Foot Farm, a flood-resilient agroforestry operation. Notable achievements include chairing the Burlington Parks Commission, serving on the Board of Directors for Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, and her committee roles on the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development, Vermont Economic Progress Council, and Convention Center and Performance Venue Task Force.
