A.J. Louderback is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 30, which includes DeWitt, Goliad, Jackson, Lavaca, Matagorda, and Victoria counties. A fifth-generation Texan born in December 1956 in Matagorda County, he is a retired five-term Sheriff of Jackson County with over 40 years in law enforcement and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Notable achievements include serving as Vice Chair and Chair of the Legislative Sheriff’s Association of Texas, expanding the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s 287 program to 16 Texas counties, and advocating for border security, Second Amendment rights, public safety, lower property taxes, and strong schools; he frequently appears on Fox News and Newsmax.
