Mike Foley

Mike Foley was sworn in as Nebraska Auditor of Public Accounts on January 5, 2023, after previously serving two terms in the same office from 2007 to 2015. A former state senator and lieutenant governor (2015–2023), Foley holds degrees from SUNY Brockport and Michigan State University and spent 20 years in Washington, D.C., working in regulatory financial analysis. As auditor, he has focused on exposing waste, fraud, and inefficiency in state and local government operations.
