Matt Van Epps is a West Point graduate and former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services. He won the Republican nomination in the October 7, 2025 primary to replace the retiring Mark Green. Van Epps has served in state government and is endorsed by former President Donald Trump and outgoing Rep. Mark Green.
