SB 1042
SB 1042 - This act creates the offense of unlawful possession of a handgun if the person is a minor and knowingly possesses a handgun. This offense shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $100, imprisonment in a juvenile detention facility for a period not to exceed 10 days, or both. This act is identical to SB 127 (2025), and substantially similar to SB 1044 (2024), SB 439 (2023), and HB 2227 (2020). TRISTAN BENSON, JR.
Requires PG County to grant a personal-property tax credit for eligible grocery stores in healthy-food priority areas, for new builds or major renovations, capped at annual tax.
