Virginia "Ginny" S. Sosnowski was born in Seekonk, Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Education degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Rhode Island College. Sosnowski served as a school teacher for 30 years. She was elected to four terms in the Rhode Island House of Representatives. While in the legislature, Sosnowski focused on education, healthcare, and economic issues.read less
