Stephen M. Hawley was born on December 31, 1951 in Batavia, New York. He graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1974 and then received his MBA from St. Bonaventure University in 1975. Hawley worked as a business executive with positions at Birds Eye Foods, Inc and The Pillsbury Company before retiring in 2006 to start Hawley Development LLC, a real estate development company in Batavia. He served on the Genesee County Legislature from 2006 to 2008.read less
