Scott F. Talley was born in 1961 in the U.S. state of Washington. He attended Seattle University where he obtained his B.A. In 1987, Talley graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. From 1987 to 1988, he served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Justice Vernon R. Pearson of the Washington State Supreme Court. Talley worked in the criminal division of the Washington Attorney General's office before entering private practice as a criminal defense attorney. From 2013 to 2014, he served as the president of the Washington State Bar Association.read less
