Biography

Rob Clements was born on December 11, 1950, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Elmwood High School in 1969 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with honors from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1973.

Professionally, Clements has a background in banking, insurance, and tax preparation. He serves as the Executive Vice President at the American Exchange Bank in Elmwood, Nebraska.

Clements was appointed to the Nebraska Legislature on February 6, 2017, to represent District 2, succeeding Bill Kintner. He was subsequently elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
