ABOUT
Marko Liias was born on February 7, 1980 and raised in Mukilteo, Washington. He graduated from Kamiak High School before attending Boston College, graduating in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy. In 2006, Liias was elected to the Mukilteo City Council. He went on to be elected to the Washington State House of Representatives in 2008 where he served District 21 until his election to the Washington State Senate in 2014 representing the 21st Legislative District.read less
