Biography
Jennifer Wexton is an American politician and attorney who served as the U.S. Representative for Virginia's 10th congressional district from 2019 to 2025. A member of the Democratic Party, she succeeded Republican Barbara Comstock in Congress. Prior to her tenure in the House of Representatives, Wexton was a member of the Virginia Senate from 2014 to 2019, representing the 33rd district, which includes parts of Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. In September 2023, she announced that she would not seek re-election in 2024 after being diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare and degenerative neurological disorder.
